Football Final:
The football final that every cadet wanted to know the result for, was, undoubtedly, a hard-faught battle, where all involved put in amazing effort and did 492 proud on the pitch. SWO Lloyd's comments on the guestbook will detail what took place but the overall score was 8:1 (Burkey scoring our goal).

Recruitment Drive
Flt/Lt Iles declared that 2002 be a year where we retain our successes and get stronger as a team and as a squadron in Warwickshire and Birmingham Wing. Last year was the best year with 53 cadets passing their exams first time. A record for the squadron by any means. The recruitment is being developed over the first half of the year and is hoped to be implimented by the end of the year. With so much going for 492 squadron, only the cadets can make it an equally brilliant year with increased numbers so we can maintain our stance as the premier squadron in the Wing.
Football Frenzy
492 are chuffed after a victory over 163 in the football semi finals. 163 being our long-running rivals, it was very pleasing to beat them at football. 492 now look forward to 165 in April in the final. Cdt McFetridge will be providing the pompoms for the cheerleading team! | |
